It's no secret -- I love beer! But not just any beer. Quite frankly,
most mass-produced American beer is bland, nearly tasteless swill. It
is said that most American beer drinkers don't really like beer, they
just like to get drunk and piss a lot!
For the more adventurous beer drinker, it is an absolute necessity
to seek out high quality microbrews and imports. Many beer lovers even
go so far as to brew their own.
I have been brewing beer since 1995; recently, I have also started
brewing mead (a historical beverage, made from fermented honey). I'm a
member of the American
Homebrewers Association, passed the BJCP
beer judge certification exam in 2001, and I am currently the VP of the
Urban Knaves of Grain homebrewing club.
My intent is to turn this area of JustBrewIt.net into a comprehensive
resource for beer lovers and homebrewers. Until that happens, here are
a few links to keep you busy:
Cheers!
